Hart Kienle Pentecost Speaks At September MHET Forum

Hart Kienle Pentecost will be joining the Manufactured Housing Educational Trust (MHET) at their “Drilling Down on Water Issues” Forum on September 23rd at the Wyndham Hotel in Costa Mesa, CA. Mr. William C. Hart will be speaking with Brett Barbre, Director of the Municipal Water District of Orange County, on the latest water issues and how it affects those living in the Mobile Home industry. A few months ago Governor Brown’s executive order mandated a 25% savings on water usage due to the severe California draught. Local water agencies immediately announced increases in water rates, restrictions on watering landscaping, washing cars and driveways and promised potential fines for overuse. Latest reports show that Californians have actually listened and have saved over 31% in July. Now we are hearing predictions that El Nino will provide record rainfall. Will that resolve the draught or cause other issues such as flooding and land slides? The current draught coupled with the knowledge that there is a lack of needed infrastructure to store and deliver water statewide, means mobile home community owners will surely face increasing water costs. We will focus on how community owners can survive the current draught and future water challenges. For more information on the event and to register
