Improving Your Operations in 2016
This presentation will be an interactive forum on laws and issues which are critical to the manufactured housing industry. The panel will focus on current operational issues as creating, amending and enforcing rules; upgrading infrastructure; dealing with capital improvements (and the benefits); passing through capital improvement expenses (learn what is working for others and how it can work for you); dealing with community owned homes; and keeping the eviction process on track. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation where the attorneys, who have more than 30 years’ experience, will answer questions and address your community concerns.

American with Disabilities and Fair Housing Acts – Practical Considerations for Manufactured Home Communities
This presentation will be an interactive forum providing participants with an overview of both the Americans with Disabilities and Fair Housing Acts and how they impact a manufactured home community’s policies, operations and residents. Topics will include service animals, comfort animals, public accommodations and reasonable accommodations, and issues concerning approval and acceptance of a caregivers, within manufactured home communities.
