Hart Kienle Pentecost Announces Managing Partner Transition
The founding partner of Southern California law firm Hart Kienle Pentecost, William R. Hart, will step down as managing partner, effective January 1, 2020. His new role within the firm will be Senior Counsel. Mr. Hart has been practicing law since 1976 and has spent his entire career at Hart Kienle Pentecost, establishing the firm in 1982. He has managed the firm’s finances and its successes with over 40 years.
Two Hart Kienle Pentecost Partners, John Pentecost and Andrew Kienle, who have collectively worked at the firm for over 50 years, will assume the new roles as “Shareholder & Managing Partner”.
John Pentecost has been with Hart Kienle Pentecost since 1988 and is a group leader in the firm’s manufactured housing practice. He has litigated multiple trials and has had extensive involvement in defending mobilehome communities— ranging from ground lease dispute issues, state and federal fair housing issues including discrimination, failure to maintain actions, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) matters. Mr. Pentecost graduated from University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law in 1981, and before that earned his B.S. from California State Polytechnic University – Pomona.
Andrew Kienle is a litigation partner at Hart Kienle Pentecost with wide ranging experience representing trustees, beneficiaries and conservators in trust and estate disputes, as well as clients involved in complex business, real estate and employment matters in state and federal court. Mr. Kienle graduated from California Western School of Law in 1996, and before that earned his B.A. from Arizona State University.
